Programme at a Glance

The programme for the 2026 Dvořák Prague Festival once again builds on our established thematic series. The Dvořák Collection, Chamber Series and the Czech Philharmonic will remain at its core.

It would be premature to reveal details about specific concerts or the full line-up of series before the full programme is officially announced in March 2026. But it is already clear that the 2026 festival will yet again welcome leading international orchestras, and that the Opera in Concert project will return to enrich the programme.

Audiences can also look forward to the continuation of the No Tie series. The success and resounding audience response of this series have encouraged us to carry this concept forward into 2026. The series will include a joint concert by Brad Mehldau and Kirill Gerstein, which promises a captivating, entertaining, inspiring and enlightened exploration of music.

The emerging generation of artists will continue to receive ample space at the festival – as you will see for yourselves once the full programme is unveiled. It will feature concerts from the For the Future and Dvořák Prague at Bořislavka series, as well as our ever-popular recitals and chamber concerts.

And in case you’re wondering about the Mozart anniversary - we’ll be commemorating it in a  way that audiences might not expect. After all, there’s no need to carry sand to the beach.

“To have a wonderful idea is nothing special. The idea comes of its own accord and, if it’s fine and great, man cannot take the credit for it. But to take a fine idea and make something great of it, that is the hardest thing to do; that is what real art is!”

— Antonín Dvořák
