Komarek Foundation.org: Rudolfinum Resounded with the Opening Concert of the 19th Dvořák Prague Festival

The first evening of the festival belonged to the official opening concert in Dvořák Hall. One of the world’s finest orchestras, Filarmonica della Scala, performed iconic works by Antonín Dvořák under the baton of its Music Director Riccardo Chailly. Austrian cellist Julia Hagen also appeared as soloist.

Viewers were also able to watch the opening ceremony live on Czech Television’s ČT art channel. A recording of the concert is temporarily available on the iVysílání platform.
