Dvořák Prague Festival 2026 tickets now on sale

Prague will once again resound with glorious music from 5 to 23 September 2026. The nineteenth edition of the Dvořák Prague International Music Festival offers a programme that brings together Dvořák tradition, an international perspective and the energy of today’s leading performers from around the world.
The Festival will open with cellist Julia Hagen and the Filarmonica della Scala under the baton of Italian conductor Riccardo Chailly. Audiences can also look forward to the Vienna Philharmonic with the exceptional violinist Hilary Hahn, the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich with conductor Paavo Järvi and the debut of twenty-one-year-old piano phenomenon Yunchan Lim.
For those seeking a more relaxed atmosphere, the Festival once again presents the popular No Tie series, combining genre diversity, humour and the joy of music. The first concert in this line will be an evening of musical dialogue between Brad Mehldau and Kirill Gerstein.
Songs, opera and chamber music
As part of the Dvořák Collection series, the Festival’s artist-in-residence and curator of the series, Magdalena Kožená, will place Dvořák’s songs alongside works by Janáček, Ravel and Schubert. The Festival will also present Dvořák’s opera The Jacobin in concert performance. The chamber series will include, among other highlights, performances by the 12 Cellists of the Berlin Philharmonic and the Alinde Quintet, winner of the ARD International Music Competition.
Young talents in the spotlight once again
The Festival has long supported the next generation of artists through its For the Future series, its collaboration with the prestigious Concertino Praga competition and its masterclasses. Last year, the twelve-year-old violinist Yeonah Kim won the competition, and this year she appeared with the Brno Philharmonic as soloist.
