The Grand Finale of Concertino Praga 2025

Concertino Praga – the Dvořák Radio International Competition for Young Musicians – has announced the results of the first round of its 2025 edition. The line-up of eight finalists, each representing a different instrument and hailing from six different countries, is unprecedented in the competition’s history. Selected from nearly sixty applicants from three continents, these young musicians have earned their place in the finals.
Expert juries in two instrumental categories evaluated the competition recordings anonymously. Four finalists in each group have advanced to the public finals, which will take place on 12 and 13 September 2025 as part of the Dvořák Prague International Music Festival.
Finalists – Winds Category
Concert: 12 September 2025 at 7.00 pm, Bethlehem Chapel, CTU Hall
- Chantal Ramona Veit (Italy) – flute
- Víctor Amadeu Puigbò Rincón (Spain) – saxophone
- Raeun Hong (South Korea) – oboe
- Otakar Antonín Štefan (Czech Republic) – clarinet
Finalists – Keyboard and Strings Category
Concert: 13 September 2025 at 7.00 pm, Rudolfinum, Dvořák Hall
- Matvejs Fokins (Latvia) – piano
- Darin Lambrev (Bulgaria) – cello
- Yeonah Kim (South Korea) – violin
- Viktor Stocker (Czech Republic) – accordion
Each finalist will perform a concerto work in a public concert accompanied by an orchestra. Laureates will receive financial scholarships from the Karel Komárek Family Foundation and other competition partners. The winners of both categories will also be offered the opportunity to record a professional CD at Czech Radio.
