Magdalena Kožená is the artist-in-residence of the 2026 Dvořák Prague Festival

World-renowned mezzo-soprano Magdalena Kožená is the artist-in-residence of the 2026 Dvořák Prague Festival. Winner of the 2025 Antonín Dvořák Award and one of the most prominent figures on the contemporary performance scene, she will be featured throughout this year’s programme.

The residency is not just an honorary title: it is an essential part of the Festival's dramaturgy. The audience will have the opportunity to watch Magdalena Kožená in various roles - as a soloist, chamber partner and mentor.

Magdalena Kožená is also the curator of the Dvořák Collection series, which will revolve around the song genre in 2026. In addition to songs by Dvořák, the programme will include songs by  Leoš Janáček, Maurice Ravel, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Franz Schubert.

Join us to hear Magdalena Kožená live during the 2026 Dvořák Prague Festival. We recommend the unique concert with Kirill Gerstein, or the unparalleled event A Baroque Celebration, which shines a spotlight on baroque composers.

Magdalena Kožená is also dedicated to supporting young musicians. She carefully selects the most talented – four of whom will be presented at the concert Magdalena Kožená presents, which Magdalena will personally moderate.
